Millennia-old traditional knowledge has proven to align with planetary boundaries and enable stability. These inspiring practices offer sustainable ways to address biodiversity loss and the climate change crisis, bringing together indigenous , local communities’ and investors’ interests. Nevertheless, mainstreamed sustainable finance discourses continue to place their hopes on Western science-based information, often navigating political compromises.
