To expand knowledge about environmental services and to train professionals, the first seminar “Environmental Services: Management of Watershed” was held on May 23 at Embrapa Milho and Sorgo, in Sete Lagoas, MG, during the programming of the 12th Integration Week Technological. The booklet “Environmental Services and Agriculture” was also launched. The publication is available for download at the Embrapa Library.
The TEEB Regional-Local project, which deals with the Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity, ended last May after seven years of fruitful partnership between MMA, CNI and GIZ, within Brazil-Germany Cooperation.
A number of important results were achieved in this period, promoting the natural capital and ecosystem services in public policy and businesses.
