SWG5 – ES in Water Management is organising a session at the ESP Europe Conference in San Sebastian, Spain next month: S5 – Promoting sustainability through water-related concepts, approaches and tools for quantifying ES (16 October, Tuesday). Check the session program and abstracts at the conference Session overview page and see you there. There is also a Research Gate project for the session, which you can follow if you are interested in further nerworking on the topic.
SWG5 has a new lead team member – welcome Kremena Burkhard! Kremena is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Environmental Planning, Leibniz University Hannover, Germany within the project ViWA (Virtual Water Values). Her research interests include interdisciplinary environmental studies, water resources and sustainability assessment, mapping and assessment of ecosystem services, spatial analysis and decision-making support tools for water management.
