ESP works tirelessly to bring people together to enhance the science, policy and practical application of Ecosystem Services (or Nature’s Contributions to People). The work of our secretariat is made possible largely thanks to financial support from our members and sponsors.
Thanks to this support we are able to:
Maintain a platform for over 40 Working Groups, 12 regional chapters and nearly 50 national networks worldwide.
Provide key-services, such as guidelines, databases, training and eduction material.
Run lively and reliable communication channels for the ecosystem services community, regularly bringing the latest developments from our network and giving more visibility to relevant initiatives, research, project and events, through:
- monthly newsletter (3400+ subscribers)
- website (~35000 visitors per year)
- social media (~12000 followers across platforms)
