ESP connects over 3000 ecosystem services scientists, policy makers and practitioners who work together in more than 40 Working Groups and a growing number of National Networks on all continents. ESP regularly organises World and Regional conferences and provides many Services to further enhance the application of ecosystem services for nature conservation, ecosystem restoration and sustainable management. As part of the NetworkNature semester ‘Nature-based solutions for ecosystem restoration’, which aims to create opportunities for local, regional and international cooperation on nature-based solutions and to explore how ecosystem restoration can contribute to biodiversity conservation whilst fostering sustainable development, at NetworkNature we are pleased to invite you to submit case-studies and experiences of ecosystem restoration.

Centered in the Mountain region of Andalucia (Southern Spain), this exciting and interdisciplinary project brings together conservation biologists, ecologists, local peoples, social scientists, land managers, and IT engineers to co-design incorporate all existing sources of information (including scientific outputs and technical data) on biodiversity and global change in Sierra Nevada, through a long-term physical and virtual European e-infrastructure for research and monitoring that allows to optimize adaptive conservation and ecosystems service supply of mountain ecosystems. Centered in the Yoro region of Honduras, this exciting and interdisciplinary project brings together conservation biologists, ecologists, agronomists, farmers, indigenous peoples, economists, social scientists, land managers, and engineers to co-design, assess, and implement a system for sustainable coffee production.
