In response to growing interest in ecosystem services, the U.S. Forest Service is identifying needs and opportunities to incorporate an ecosystem services approach into its programs and activities.

International training on ES management
The international training on ecosystem management for sustainable development in transboundary areas will take place on 19 – 26 October 2017 at the DMZ Ecotourism Center located in Paju-si, Republic of Korea. This one-week course is jointly organized by ESP Asia Regional Office, Gyeonggi provincial government and Gyeonggi Tourism Organization and this year thirteen participants from Primorsky Krai, Russia will attend the course bringing with their diverse transboundary nature management experiences.
