As part of the scoping processes for the thematic assessment of the interlinkages among biodiversity, water, food and health (“nexus assessment”) and the thematic assessment of the underlying causes of biodiversity loss, determinants of transformative change and options for achieving the 2050 vision for biodiversity (“transformative change assessment”) of IPBES, two online conferences will be held. The conference objective is to compile and synthesise the scientific evidence related to the current state of integrated forest management approaches. The ES conference „Mapping and Assessment of Ecosystem Services: Challenges in a global environmental context“ will take place on 1-3 July 2020 in Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius. The conference is organized within the frame of the LINESAM project.
Conference organizers plan to publish a special issue in a high ranked (Q1) scientific journal. The conference is free of charge, however, the number of places is limited.
