ESP’s first conference in the MENA region
ESP organised its first conference for the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) region together with GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation). The conference took place from 22-25 April 2018 at the Dead Sea, Jordan, and had the theme ‘Enhancing ecosystem services through ecological restoration for nature and people’. Call for abstracts for ESP EU 2018 is now open. The deadline for abstract submission is till 4 June. If you would like to get more information about the proposed sessions to which you can upload your abstract, please visit the conference website.
The conference is undertaking under the topic “Ecosystem services in a changing world: moving from theory to practice“. All individuals interested in our proposed sessions are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation.
ACES: A Community on Ecosystem Services represents a dynamic and growing international assembly of professionals, researchers, and policy-makers involved with ecosystem services. The conference provides an interdisciplinary forum for sharing experiences, methods, and tools for assessing and incorporating ecosystem services into public and private decisions.
