Updates from the Brazilian national network
The members of the Brazil national network have several announcement from the past month, including a new publication, the firt seminar on waterhed management, and the finalisation of the TEEB Regional-Local project on ES and biodiversity.

Launching of the Jordan Clearing House Mechanism of Biodiversity (“JO-CHM”)
Jordan is a Party to the UN’s Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), having signed the Convention in 1992, and ratified it on 12 November 1993. As Party to the Convention, Jordan is required to implement the CBD’s articles as well as the relevant decisions of the Conference of the Parties (COP). During COP10, which took place in October 2010 in Nagoya, Japan, Parties adopted the mission, goals and objectives of the CBD Clearing House Mechanism (CHM) for the period 2011- 2020.
