The Conservation Strategy Fund (CSF) team is expanding its global work in environmental economics and hiring a Senior Environmental Economist to support CSF’s work integrating the values of nature into policies and decision-making.
By joining the international and diverse team, this Economist will be responsible for ensuring that CSF’s global impact – from protecting whale sharks in Indonesia to empowering Indigenous communities in the Amazon – will be underpinned by consistent technical quality. This position will contribute expertise to an international community of people working to make the world a better place, and they will be able to see the impact of your work play out in CSF’s strategic efforts to value, finance, and fight for nature.
There are also opportunities for this Economist to engage in CSF’s capacity-building, and learn to teach other conservationists how to apply economic tools to their strategies for more sustainable and cost-effective outcomes.
If you know an Economist who is interested in joining this dynamic organization, and helping advance its mission, please share this position with them.
