Natural Capital Matters, spin-off from the University of Salamanca (Spain), needs to fill two postdoctoral positions in the area of economic valuation of ecosystem services and natural capital. The successful candidate will assist in positioning the firm, both from the supply (research, funding, presentations) and the demand side (contact with stakeholders, project proposals and monitoring).

Requirements
PhD degree in Environmental Economics, Ecological Economics, Environmental Science, Ecology, Economics, Management, Law, or related fields.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Strong motivation, work ethics and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
A PhD degree in Environmental Economics or Ecological Economics is preferred. Candidates holding a PhD degree in Economics, Management, or Law, with orientation to sustainability, or Environmental Science / Ecology will also be considered.
Experience in GIS programming and data processing.
Position
The position is presential at Salamanca, from January 2024 or earlier, conditional on satisfactory performance after one year. Salary commensurate with experience.
