The Institute of Natural Resource Conservation at Kiel University, Germany, invites applications for a PostDoc position with a focus on the coordination international master programs.
The position is available as soon as possible for a limited period of 2 years. The core tasks for the position lie in the organization and coordination of international study courses at the Institute for Nature Conservation and the Institute for Ecosystem Research in close cooperation with the Kiel School of Sustainability as well as in the further development of an integrated and innovative teaching concept. The activity also includes student service and administration tasks for the ERASMUS program, individual counseling for students and cooperation with international partner institutions.
In practical teaching, the job holder is to take on English-language modules in the master programs “Environmental Management”, “Applied Ecology” and “Sustainability, Society and the Environment” as well as for neighboring subjects. The fields of research and the focus areas of teaching should be in the areas of ecosystem and landscape analysis, assessment of ecosystem services, coastal zone management and land-sea interactions as well as the application of systems analysis methods for biodiversity and resource management.
